These series of simplified drawings shows a metaphorical, and yet childish perspective on the world of 'Melancholia'. Claire's little boy -- Leo, experiences the events leading to the apocalypse alongside adults, but may not fully understand what is unraveling. This drawings appear as a diary, the one last surving note of humanity in the face of extinction, as we see the essence of humankind through the eyes of a child.
